Based on the US TV show of the same name, So You Think You Can Dance is a reality TV show / dance competition hosted by Cat Deely which airs on BBC 1.
Similar in many ways to the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever, which aired 2005-2006, So You Think You Can Dance features both amateur and professional dancers all competing for the title 'Britain's Favourite Dancer'. Each week, the contestants are judged by Nigel Lythgoe, Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips and Louise Redknapp, with both performances and results being shown on the same night.
The winner will earn £100,000 and the opportunity to perform in the final of the US version of So You Think You Can Dance.
The male dancers to have made it through the auditions are: Mark Calape, Tommy Franzen, Drew McOine, Chris Piper, Alastair Poslethwaite, Gavin Tsang and Robbie White.
Female contestants are: Charlie Bruce, Chloë Campbell, Yanet Fuentes, Lizzie Gough, Anabel Kutay, Mandy Montanez and Hayley Newton.
So You Think You Can Dance can be watched live online on BBC 1 on Saturday evenings. Catch Up episodes are available through BBC iPlayer.
